A Journey Round My Skull

Heaps of art and literature to discover at A Journey Round My Skull.

“Unhealthy book fetishism from a reader, collector, and amateur historian of forgotten literature,” reads the subhead of Will Schofield's literature and illustration blog.

Brought to my attention from a member of the Bartel Pritchard Film Society (email us for more details on that one), who dubbed it a treasure trove of wonders, I was instantly enamored with the curated book covers, whimsical and bold illustrations, excerpts, and art history included with each presented piece.

Taking the blog's title from Hungarian writer Frigyes Korinthy, who penned a book by the same name, it would be a book lover's or art aficionado's wet dream to see these collections in real time but alas we must revel through the screen.

With three years of archiving, Schofield's already compiled a vast body of posts. I seriously hope his obsession never fades, at least not his presence on the interwebs found here, here, here, and here.
