Chicago's Dirty Diamonds are a sign that the kids are OK. Much of the Dirty Diamonds' work is still in demo stages, but we've never been much akin to polish or swank. We get just enough enjoyment from these fledgling doo-woppers to reserve hope for the future. Besides, it's nice to see children smiling again. The Dirty Diamonds have posted a five song EP, so you can get the skinny on a band yet to flesh out its style. Keep an ear on these kids for a remix EP called Monster Ballads chock full of songs from Meet The Dirty Diamonds as well.
