Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Round and Round
A little disco-ball reverb, a nostalgia-dripping vocal hook my mom definitely listened to in her 1985 Toyota Tercel, and we're ready for another era's flying car metaphors and utopian metropolis fantasies for this unadulterated throwback to coke-era record labels and Los Angeles with a twinkle in its grinning, numb teeth.
The new Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti single is the first released for an upcoming 4AD release, and will be available as a limited 7-inch, but wait for that full-length to get your paws on the brilliant man-making-out-with-wolf album art.
