Authorization leaves its mark with Version 1

Version 1
Although Authorization parted ways last year creating a hole in the "ambient dance post-punk prog" scene of D.C., the duo (comprised of Jeff Barsky from Plums and Dan Caldas of Black Eyes and Horses) recently released a free downloadable collection of material ranging from 2007 to 2010 aptly titled Version 1. The unique collection, which includes the tropical, jazzy "Soft Needles" and the melodically building "Slow Growth", displays the diversity and beauty of Authorization's unique sound.
