Not since the trends of rappers earning their chops as back-up dancers and new jack swing has dance been so prevalent in hip hop.
The new hot shit in the streets is disinterested ballerinas at your television performance, making Pharrell and Kanye trend-setters, yet Prodigy of Mobb Deep still will not receive pardon for his childhood dance classes. Don't ask me how the streets work, just know that the streets have spoken.
Take note rappers looking for exposure in a few weeks. Don't even think about having a CMJ showcase worth raving about if you can't secure at least 15 ballerinas to sit around looking hungry, but totally cool with their lack of sustenance.
