Best big releases of 2008

By Jeremy Krinsley » While we are some times at pains to consider most popular music more than simply "eh" worthy, there is a reason the commercial wheat rises above the commercial chafe, and we, though clueless to the mechanics behind it, must have a janky list somewhere on our blog to revere it. With that in mind, 2008 was a somewhat reassuring year for the music-loving mainstream, with more than a few memorable releases.
