» We fell in love with Chicago's Bird Names when we stumbled on the long-running project earlier this year. The range on this shit is fantastic: from lost-love ballads recorded in a half-full pickle jar ("I Had A Girl") to their best Calvin Johnson impression ("People Should Get More Aware") to what could be Campesinos Brit-twee ("Production"), we are hereby putting Sings the Brown (Upset! the Rhythm) on our best music of 2009 list.
