Jonathan Safran Foer cuts up a book and people love him for it. Called Trees of Code, it's really fancy die-cuts into the real book of The Street of Crocodiles by Bruno Schultz.

Someone needs to do a painful and excruciating study about industrialized book cutting, maybe that will get him to stop this tree and book torture. My grandmother takes great comfort in her normal book culture and I'm not sure if newborn babies should consume books like this.
