New Jersey’s Donna Missal has been stirring things up lately, with her doe eyes and her glossy vocals. Her debut single, “Keep Lying”, lit the blogosphere on fire, and she’s followed it up with an equally captivating track.

“The Keeper” is slow and steady, horns and an interesting wind sound to the bass off the bat. Donna’s vocals drift soulful and lazy over the jazzy track, breathy and alluring as she confronts a dismal relationship head on. She’s obtained clarity in the situation, admitting that she “looks stupid again” after chasing this person who causes her trouble and uses all her time. Sounds like it’s time to kick this person to the curb.

All we know is that whoever is icing her out is making a huge mistake.

Tour Dates:
Sept 2nd: Denver, CO @ Riot Fest
Sept 3rd: Seattle, WA @ Bumbershoot
Sept 8th: Los Angeles, CA @ Troubadour
Sept 17th: Chicago, IL @ Riot Fest
