Isa, “Good For Me”

Emily Chu

Granddaughter of famous Cuban vocalist and actress Isaura Mendoza, one could say that music is in Isa‘s blood. From the Bronx, Isa is a singer, songwriter, and model who is certainly gaining attention. She released her debut EP while attending university, and hasn’t slowed down since.

Her latest offering is a track called “Good For Me,” and we have the exclusive premiere. This track is the second single off of her upcoming record, Mirrors Vol. 1 EPThe track is captivating. Isa’s voice instantly entrances you and seduces you into submission. In regard to the song, Isa says that “‘Good for Me’ details the candid internal struggle of having to choose between two lovers. Following through with the theme of ‘Mirrors Volume I’, I decided to be brutally honest with myself and face the situation in song as the story itself was unfolding in my life. It gives a perspective into the other side of relationships that is blatantly selfish and mischievous.”

We definitely feel that, Isa.

Mirrors Vol. 1 EP is out October 28th. Isa is playing a free show at the next Uptown Soul Lounge here in NYC.
