New indie pop duo joan – comprised of Alan Thomas and Steven Rutherford – revealed their debut single “take me on” in January. A sparkling synth dream, the song caught our fancy with its first line “brown hair, those lips, stay close to me.” An upbeat song alluding to initial infatuation and the intense emotions that come along with it, we’re guessing this is going to be a springtime playlist staple.
