Newish: Can-U

Tacoma, WA emcee offers a dedication trifecta to prove he does it all for the love (ya'll)

We have followed Can-U since his debut A Stepping Stone was reviewed back in the days of Impose print. While our magazine might be sleeping through the collapse, Can-U has endured, creating some of his best music to date.

Although I'm sure I'm capable of doing so, I've never wrote music that I wasn't inspired to create through experience or desire. These three songs are derived from love. The Love that wouldn't work no matter how hard I tried. The love of a city and artform that some claim to be dirty and the love of being a father to something or somebody. These are songs that I have used to build up my catalogue in preparation for my album that should finally drop in late summer or early fall this year.

Can-U, “B.A.B.Y.”

Can-U, “Didn't I”

Can-U, “Dirty Clean”
