Now We Are Free, new label, to release Yeasayer's debut singles and LP

Post Author:

Yeasayer was originally the homemade machinations of Chris Keating, who teamed with with cellist Anand Wilder in 2005. Now, as the internet attests, the Brooklyn-based quartet describes themselves as “Middle Eastern-Psych-Pop-Snap-Gospel,” but you be the judge. Their single, “2080”/”Sunrise” is available for streaming below.

All Hour Cymbals, their LP, will be available in late fall on We Are Free records, the new label/management group of Jason Foster, owner of Monitor Records U*S*A. The label will be releasing Ponytail's next LP, while Monitor will continue to release material as well, including a possible Oxes release.
