That's right, a social experiment (sans vowels!) and alcohol (free after ticket charges!)

LVHRD, that classy little blog/party-throwing organization with an apparent dslk fr vwls is having a semi-secret (sm-scrt?) performance with Yacht Monday night at a location that will be announced publicly via text message four hours prior to the start of the event.

Since cell phones probably do give you cancer, the adorable, awkward video starring Tim Harrington and Syd Butler that warns of the health hazards of SMC (Severe Micro-Cellulotamination) are only a half-joke (see below), but the party they prescribe, (CLL) PHN-LCKN (cell-phone-lock-in), resulted in Les Savy Fav performing at the MoMA in 2006 to a crowd that had turned in their cellphones for the performance.

This time around, health risks be damned, one wont have to turn in his or her cellphone, but there will be some sort of costume (the ticket purchase page asks you to specify your body-type) to keep the party in the realm of social experiment. It aint cheap ($30), but you'll make it back after knocking back free Sapporo and Dewars, and thereby belittle the health risks of keeping your phone near your head by getting it wasted.
