Otis Clapp, "Prove Me Wrong"

In a world of continuous controversy, it’s important to keep the conversation going. Otis Clapp recently released a track that does just that. “Prove Me Wrong” is a part of  his long awaited forthcoming EP, Helen Keller, and we’re loving it.
Otis Clapp is a rapper and producer from Queens, New York and music has been his life for a long time. He’s shared the stage with a lot of big names, such as Mac Miller, J. Cole, and Diplo. His passion shows through his music, and this song is the perfect vessel to show his hard work.

“‘Prove Me Wrong’ speaks to the overall racial climate from my perspective. The fact that I can’t sign on to social media anymore without seeing negativity and racial tension (from both sides) really saddens me. Or better yet, the fact that we still have to discuss racism in 2017 is what really saddens me.  This song is almost a plea for unity, a plea to start judging people on their own merits and not the color of their skin; a call for unity, love and respect . An open invitation to see the bigger picture.” — Otis Clapp
