Organ music makes this song feel a bit morbid from the start, slowly placing the melody behind his honest, ethereal vocals. It sounds more like a hymn than some of his other work, the lyrics are slightly more heavy than you would expect from a song that is as layered and beautiful as this one is. But it is commentary, and it is necessary.
