At last we have received word of the anticipated upcoming new So Many Wizards album Heavy Vision available in April via Lolipop Records & to celebrate the news we invited our dear friend Nima Kazerouni to take over Week in Pop with the following exclusive guest selections:
So Many Wizards, so little time

Kevin Morby, “Come To Me Now”

I had the pleasure of playing with Kevin Morby once in Claremont and once at the Glass House playing right before the Babies at Viva Pomona. Needless to say I am a huge fan. This new track he just released really gets me. The video is perfect:

“BoJack Horseman” opening credits theme song

This opening theme of Bojack Horsemen, a show that I had no idea existed until this week is hitting me good:

Descendants, “Hope”

I’m going to listen to this song as I snowboard down the mountain this weekend in Park City. Perfect song to get amped. One of my all time favorites. I’ll be with a bunch of my childhood South Bay buds and it’s double appropriate ’cause Descendants are from our hometown of Manhattan Beach.

Rudy De Anda, “House of Construction”

Lastly here’s rad track because my buds are playing at Alex’s bar this Saturday with La Luz. My Nectarines band mate Rachel Rufrano is opening and my other buddy Rudy De Anda is direct support. Bummed I’ll be missing this epic Long Beach show but I’ll definitely be there in spirit. This song is super good:
