Featured off the upcoming debut album …Presenting PEP!; the NYC group PEP presents their own David Origlieri’s edited video of vintage animation for their single “One of These Days (I’m Gonna Be Your Girlfriend)”. Karys Rhea, Ilana Webber, Christina Connerton, along with David Origlieri, Teddy Williams & Sharif Mekawy create a hopeful sound that contrasts all of life’s bleakness for an exuberant & exciting set of modernist era styles that symbolize a kind of carefree vibe from the days before the digital dawning. From visuals that involve cartoon frogs & mice & more; “One of These Days (I’m Gonna Be Your Girlfriend) exemplifies the earnest & uplifting attitudes of PEP that both lives up to the group’s name & presents the sound & sights of timeless styles still to come. One of your newest favorite summer songs has finally arrived. PEP introduced the inception behind the new song that pertains to Elvis Presley pop fixations & more:

I started humming Elvis’ vocal melodies around the house and eventually the lyrics and melody of “One of These Days” organically came…It’s one of our more classic songs. We tried to stay true to the music of the late 50s/early 60s and then decided to add an edgier, modern r&b twist for the bridge. It’s really one of those happy-go-lucky summer tunes that speaks for itself.
