Controlled Bleeding rise again

Legendary plus-sized shape-shifters Controlled Bleeding's newest collection in their 30 year history adds a layer of bludgeoning noise experiments to the oeuvre. With a history that started in guitar muck and rose into dark industrial quasi commercial success, this latest outing, Odes To Bubbler, hearkens back to their earliest sludge.

Though he died a few years ago, the album includes some haunted visitations by former singer for the band, Joe Papa. As founding member Paul Lemos quips, “All these songs are pretty chaotic, featuring Joey as the premire SCAT singer that he was.”

Odes To Bubbler is out digitally June 14 Winged Disc and on limited CD later in the summer on Soleilmoon Recordings.
