Cool Kids are a day away
» The album that dropped on the coldest day in hell. Bundle up.
It's going to be one helluva Tuesday with pigs flying and fish riding bicycles to celebrate the release of Cool Kids' long-delayed major label debut When Fish Ride Bicycles. For a stretch it seemed as though Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck Inglish were growing apart with Michael dropping solo mixtapes and Chuck producing music for Chicago and West Coast rappers. After separating ties with Chocolate Industries, the label that first scooped up the duo, Cool Kids found a new home at Green Label Sound - Mountain Dew gettin' shit done. A release date was set, but with an album title that implies "impossible delays" the Cool Kids embraced our doubt in releasing an album.
The record features guest appearances Ghostface Killah, Bun B, Asher Roth, Chip Tha Ripper, Mayer Hawthorne, Pharrell, Tennille, Travis Barker, Maxine Ashley and Boldy James.
When Fish Ride Bicycles is streaming on Green Label Sound's Facebook page, which can be heard as long as you promise to "Like" the Dew.
