Danny Brown's hope for the youth

By Impose Automaton » Exploring the conscious side of rap without being a one dimensional MC.

Danny Brown's "Guitar Solo" is one of many fine examples from The Hybrid that prove he's not just a cracked out punchline MC. On "Guitar Solo" he explores the reasons kids turn to the streets from aspirations for finer clothing sported by rappers to the simple frustration of sharing a bed with your little brother. Another favorite worth tracking down that showcases Brown's range is "Cartier," which can be heard via Nah Right.

As you may know, Danny Brown recently signed with Fools Gold records, which in an interview with iHipHop was even a shock to him. But Brown makes some good points, Fools Gold does have the bitches and it is a silly notion to dress for a dude, even though skinny jeans and zebra pants get girls' attention.
