You might note that the two chords that underlie the first fourty seconds of David Lynch's new single "Good Day Today" are the same (or quite similar) voicing to the Twin Peaks opening. Guessing the man is trying to do something here.
Lynch's always been known for his compulsive attention to sound editing, and the creepy hums, ticks, and roars that cycles through his classics are a testament to the gnarly noise album Lynch could probably throw onto a cassette after this dance track makes the rounds.
