Hors D'Oeuvres is Tickley Feather's most cohesive collection of dreamy pop songs yet. There's always something a little dark and moody in a Tickley Feather song, and the rumbling feedback swirling beneath "Not A Drum" is like the dark subconscious to its basic elements: a toy piano, light-touch bass, drum sequence, her whispy voice.
Hors D'Oeuvres is out in October on Paw Tracks.
