Here's a slightly more delicate take on the Psychic TV classic "Godstar" by Dinowalrus, in which the Brooklyn band soften up all their scuzzy edges and float gently up into the most-mellow heights of space pop. You can catch Pete Feigenbaum and his bros playing at Christopher Weingarten's book release for Hipster Puppies along with Zs and Burning Star Core, tomorow at Public Assembly. In Feigenbaum's words, "not sure what Psychic TV has to do with hipster puppies, but maybe imagine a goofy picture of a bulldog with breast implants!"
Fair enough.
