Dizzee Rascal finally makes sense
»
Apparently Dizzee's a big, big star across the pond, so here's hoping his new album makes a dent over here too.
I never felt that bad about not understanding what the fuck Dizzee Rascal was spitting, because the sentiment was shared by a lot of hip hop's luminaries. I googled for a minute, but if anyone wants to verify that I didn't dream up a Lil Wayne comment along those exact lines, make my day. Dizzee's clearly put some time into spelling out his words for Tongue 'N Cheek , and he's also taken another step outside the crater that was the grime community towards an eclecticism that allows electro dance anthems and dub-samples to sit in line. It's probably because Dizzee's from a satellite hip hop tradition that it doesn't feel weird that one of the radio-ready tracks on the album is the Tiesto-produced "Bad Behaviour".

I think I'm far more down with "Can't Take No More" than "Bad Behaviour" for two reasons: 1. Tiesto is awful. 2. british spelling annoys me.
