You know Jonsi Birgisson as the falsetto voiced wizzard in Sigur Rós, but now get to know him as one half of the duo Jónsi and Alex, a project he and his partner, visual artist Alex Somers, do together. The result is something like Brian Eno listening to his album Music for Airports on his iPod while flying to some island, his plane crashing, and this being the music the angels play upon his entrance to heaven. While I know that scenario is totally impossible since Brian Eno is in fact a deity living among us mortals, it might be the only way to get you to understand the beautiful music Jónsi and Alex make together.
