Catchy 'verbed out pop punk on this new track from Allston, MA's Earthquake Party! (exclamation point theirs, not mine). It's a nice little jump around in the room singing in the hairbrush kinda ditty, with a slightly subversive chorus: "All I want's a pretty little hand/that's full of pills and candy", which is a great idea for a holiday gift, when you think about it. I think the chorus is my favorite part – the boy/girl harmony is a vibrant chunk of clarity over the mass of chunky fuzz. The song is going to be released on a new three-track cassette called vs. Pizza, and you can stream the whole thing here. Word is they're touring come spring, so we'll be sure to let you know about that.
