Emo is back motherfucker

Emo is back motherfucker

I'm sure most of you would like to tell me that emo never died, and lives on in the soulless carcasses of gay-icons like Fall Out Boy, and those English kids who started a "suicide cult" in the name of My Chemical Romance, but you are wrong.  There was once a time when the tag was more than "oh, you're so emo," and that time was the mid-to-late 90s: a magical, and wonderful time thanks in a big way to a band, who in a post-Cobain world, took the depression to a whole new level.

That band, was Sunny Day Real Estate, and that band is back, motherfucker. I will see you in the pit.
