Fungi Girls drop single for Some Easy Magic, tour

Fungi Girls were already causing static in the garage loop when they were 16, all of two years ago, and now that they're no longer actual jailbait for would-be cougars of the Texas plains, the trio is heading out on a national tour in support of their second LP on HoZac, Some Easy Magic.

They profess on their blog to having veered in a different direction for their new record, and "Lucie" indicates as much: less grind and grunge and more spacey riffage and tenderly psyched out vocalizations. Flower children 2011.
