This began circulating yesterday but you're not allowed to miss this one. Gang Gang Dance's Eye Contact is out in May on 4AD, but the leaks begin with the massive opening 11+ minute track that are all Jean Michel-Jarre with an opening statement "I can hear everything, it's everything time," which could be taken literally: the band that blew minds with St. Dympha and God's Money is at the height of their aural powers and Eye Contact is a definitive statement of what is already a pivotal band.
We've heard the whole thing, and we're sold on that concept.
The new age doesn't really fully arrive until cascading arpeggios brush through the four minute point. Percussion takes hold around four and a half, and the last three minutes of the song stand as the glistening radio cut, if commercial radio was awesome enough to play this song, but not cool enough enough to play the whole thing.
