Gentle Friendly, Rrrrrrr (Upset the Rhythm)
Gentle Friendly have a casio, a drumset, and some wonderfully melodramatic backing textures in their pockets, which are being worn currently in London. The duo sport sort of emo vocal work but with the instrumentals it conjures up a new take on that finest of UK gloomsters of the past decade or so, Hood. It's a great single, included on Rrrrrrr (that's seven r's), out now on Upset the Rhythm.
