Gold and Soil, “Alone”
» Music for smart people, by smart people.
With lush vocals, synaptic drum specks and smooth whirligig synths, LA based duo Gold and Soil release the track “Alone,” producing the kind of stimulation reminiscent of classical music to baby brains, but for the adult. Speaking of brains, it so happens that vocalist Anahita Navab and synth-percussionist Ryan York are both PHD candidates for Psychology and Neuroscience. I am pretty sure some of your brain cells will grow back as you listen to this track.
The self-titled debut album, Gold and Soil, comes out on November 13. In the meantime, stream and download the song, “Alone” via the Impose music player below.
