Golden Cup, Kaleidopea

Pick your metaphors, this is a head trip.

Here goes one. The first side of this 20-minute cassette by Golden Cup neé Jooklo member Luca Massolin begins on a blue fog tundra, seagulls setting down on slow-moving drones with steel limbs fusing steel beams to glass walls, raising a tower to the great feedback loop in the sky, which looks kind of like a huge mouth and smells pretty dank.

We don't ever get to see the post-modernist smoke stack falling down in defeat. No Babeling aural destruction here. Golden Cup is a very optimistic contractor.

Thanks for the link. Glad you found it, the cassette is so good. Just thought I'd try and leave a shout for Digitalis Ltd for putting the effort into releasing it, they and the band the ones that deserve any credit. (thanks again - people, go find a copy)
