If you're ever in Philadelphia and need to fill some bottomless pit of pain with the tar of something pretty brutal, Leather are your people. The way we see it, there's a divide in hardcore bands between those pushing sonic envelopes towards other stiff categories, like say, Doubler Dagger's ventures towards kraut and post-rock, and then there are those like Leather, who could drag some old, angry Cro-Mag out of his barstool and make him throw some beer mugs around.
