K Records just put out Hornet Leg's Ribbon of Fear, the work of a trio but the latest output from the longer-running solo project of Chris Sutton. It's hard not to hear a little bit of Zombie-Kinks in these melodic turns and straight up Chuck Berry in the guitar turnarounds. Unadulterated, uninhibited, careening, and a good test of whether your rock veins still have a pulse.
