Julian Lynch, "Droplet on a Hot Stone" / "Nen Vole"

If you're a fan of Julian Lynch's dreamy tunes, you probably have already heard the tracks on his upcoming Underwater Peoples 7-inch, both of which originally appeared on his 2008 album Born2Run.

"Droplet on a Hot Stone" and "Nen Vole" will be available on vinyl on June 21, waccompanied by purchase with a Born2Run CD-R.

While "Nen Vole" bears the trademark loping meloncholy mid-tempo melodies and pastoral guitar melodies that ring up what could be called the Julian Lynch sound, for me, this is the first track that distinctly drew a line from the New Jersey crooner directly to Elliot Smith.
