Collision course in psych and free jazz. The last time I really liked a fusion attempt like this was Little Women, though LA-based Dream Colour are going for more palatable, melodic and droney vibes here, though don't miss out on their rhythmically tumbling freakouts. I'm just talking about the track called "Energy". The band's not above ditching the horns altogether for visceral, fuzzy jams in "Delight".
