Norse Horse
» Norse Horse seem to bask in a bath of reverb in some California nature reserve where they let you plug in your amps and process your vocals. There are lots of bird call delays, bubbly drum sequences and on "Swamp Trotter", a little frog-guitar. While there might not be anything novel in borrowing bits of calypso, guitar pop, Afro-beat, and that genre-unto-itself-we-call-Panda Bear, Norse Horse's latest collection of songs have the effortless charm of that most ephemeral of accolades, the perfect summer album, and that makes them an endangered species.

After reading this post about NorseHorse I have since become a big fan. I have been following up on and have found that NorseHorse is playing a free show in Los Angeles on Monday August 24th at Tribal Cafe at 8pm.
