TMZ reports that Lou Reed refused to allow Susan Boyle to cover "Perfect Day" off his classic record Transformer. The curmudgeon's denial left Boyle in tears and resulted in her leaving America's Got Talent. Still not dried up in the face, Boyle continued to weep in LAX as she waited for her flight to London.

When Boyle returns to London, she intends to consult the Southern Oracle regarding the licensing issues that prevented her from covering "Perfect Day".
