Gary, Indiana may not be the capital of hip hop in this country, but they sure do have one guy staking claims in the game, and that guy's name is Freddie Gibbs. His lyrics are of the "gagsta" variety (his words, not mine), but his flow is the star of the show, with a very calculated, chopped-by-every-syllable rhythm that works well with virtually any beat with 16th-note high hats in it. Also, there's solid production by Just Blaze, Needlz, Polow Da Don, JR Rotem, and the one and only Devin the Dude, who also gets a verse.
