What If... Dilla Produced The Blueprint?
»
We all get to mess around with wretched Photoshop filters on the cover of our mixtape at least once before we die.
In 2001 it was clear God was mad at us. Not only did The Blueprint get released on September 11, but providence made it so J Dilla didn't get a single beat on the Jay-Z masterpiece. God was so mad at us that he went on to keep the two geniuses apart until Dilla's untimely death on Februrary 10, 2006. But now God's chilled out a bit, maybe because we elected Obama or something, and he and Jimmy Green have offered us this fun What If mixtape combining Dilla beats and The Blueprint a cappellas. If you're worried this is along the lines of that Jaydiohead bomb, shake it out: don't judge a tape by its wretchedly photoshopped cover- this is some quality.
Jay-Z & J Dilla, "Girls Girls Girls"
Jay-Z & J Dilla, "Hola Hovito"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Photoshopped cover? How did you guess? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Damn, I'm laughing out loud at that, I did the cover in about twenty minutes (yeah, that long...). Appreciate the feedback man, I won't give up my day job in favour of graphic design!
