Monster Rally, "Island on Fire"
Columbus, Ohio's Ted Feighan keeps his tropical infusions pretty tightly bound under the moniker Monster Rally. Please refer to Coral, the sumptuous full-length he put out earlier in the year on Gold Robot. This track "Island on Fire" was written in the same period, but it makes sense that it didn't make the original cut, and appears instead as this week in Bad Panda's regular 'free song evert Monday' project, as it takes his designer crate digs to a different, equally logical conclusion, in which he applies a solid boom bap beat to another ghostly guitar melody.
