This is truly new for High Places.
If you've read and heard about High Places, you're used to the generalisms: poly-rythms, ethnic pop references, flute sounds. Well, try using the ever-superflous "Chinese Pop" modifier on this track.
This sultry and straight-ahead dance floor-prepped tune is truly the sound of Los Angeles rubbing off on the former Brooklynites. We eagerly await the march of remixes.
