Chester Endersby Gwazda has produced records by Dan Deacon, Future Islands, Ecstatic Sunshine, Cloud Nothings, and more. He now presents a project of his own, an eclectic journey through pop music‘s depths pioneered by one of Baltimore’s finest soundsmiths.

His debut album is titled Shroud, and it’s out now. In addition to his current tour, he will also join Dan Deacon’s North American romp supporting America this fall. The above video is for “World Killer,” which was created by his brother, Farley Gwazda.
Elena Johnston and Jordan Bernier are Bamboo. While both are known for creating visually stunning art – featured as cover art, posters, t-shirts and more for bands like Beach House and Future Islands – it's their cosmic swirl of keys and beats that will have your aural mind in awe. “Red Flag” is the picturesque close of side A on their new tape.
Jams is a collection of recordings that Bamboo has been gathering for the past two years, and is the duo’s first album since their self-released debut on VHS.
Both Bamboo and Chester Endersby Gwazda are currently out on tour. The trek hits Current Gallery in Baltimore tonight at a show with Future Islands, and then up to Philly, New York, and Boston next week. The NYC show is at Bohemian Grove with GDFX, Many Mansions and Free Car.
New releases from both artists are here.
