Cozz Drops Kendrick and Cole features from upcoming album

LA’s Cozz is set to release his Effected album tomorrow. Right now that’s the best title for the album, because we’re definitely feeling an impact from what he dropped today. The 14-track LP boasts features from Curren$y and Garren, but he’s pulling out the big guns today: the features with Dreamville CEO J.Cole as well as Kendrick Lamar.
“Zendaya” features the reclusive J. Cole. The two rhymers take turns over a thumping, minimalist beat as their lyricism takes center stage. “Let’s begin to be the men we never seen,” a jaded Cole rhymes, before letting the world in on an open secret: “the streets don’t give a f*ck about the Grammys.”
“Hustla’s Story” is a grittier track in which the two artists delve into the chase for a dollar by any means. For now, the tracks are available to stream below on Apple Music, but you can hear them – as well as the rest of Effected – tonight after midnight.
