Born from a swirl of rough dust in the Arizona desert, Destruction Unit haven't made it their business to release a proper studio full-length record until now, and boy is it going to be a killer. “The World On Drugs”, D-Unit's first official single, was released today, and it's a flurry of dense noise that pounds ever on until there is nothing left of reality or sonics or us or them. If you allow yourself to be foisted into the spiraling, crushing tornado, you might make it out the other side, but we're not making any promises.
Deep Trip, Destruction Unit's appropriately titled upcoming full-length, releases on Sacred Bones on August 20. The band is embarking on a mindmeld of a tour across the world, and you can catch them thrashing your brains out at the dates below.
