A week after drooping his fragile and bare pop masterpiece, “A Selfish Man,” Francis Lung has released the b-side to his upcoming 7”, “Tsunami Blues (Cause of Me),” a continuation of the insightful and delicate songwriting he’s known for. This time he abandons the full-band arrangement for a sleepy and profound acoustic ballad of unsuspected guilt, and the ominous metaphysical relationship between Mother Nature and the individual. Listen closely and we can all find a bit of guilt we can relate to.
The track is off of his first “proper” release, a 7″ with French label Atelier Ciseaux available tomorrow, January 16.
