Famous Class Records has been on a roll with their LAMC split series. The latest is an edition including Future Punx and Parquet Courts, but since PC has been covered by every blog in the local hemisphere, we’ll talk to you a little bit about the Future Punx side, “Spike Train”.
Unafraid to challenge our digitally-reliant culture, this line rings true: “There is no me/Only how you perceive me/There is no you/Only how I perceive you”. Ah yes, another reminder of how the digital era has skewed our perception of real life, as well as given others the ability to manipulate that very perspective.
