GLC knows who you pimped last summer

Given Consequence's behavior post-Good Music, it's not winning that dude any fans. Not only did he find his way into the break-up story of A Tribe Called Quest, but he tried to bad mouth Kanye like people would care. Of the Chicago/Midwest artists that Kanye helped put on, one that got lost in the shuffle, but never dropped a single complaint was GLC who slayed his verse on “Drive Slow” and then fell out of the company of Mr. West.

Whatever happened there, it's small change. GLC is a rapper's rapper that will always have work with a smooth baritone style that answers the question “What if Bun B was from Chicago.” The I Know Who You Pimped Last Summer collects GLC's guest appearances since his Fellowship Of The Ism mixtape like his standout performance on Kendrick Lamar's “Poe Man's Dreams (His Vice), as well as some loose ends worth revisiting or discovering for the first time. The tape features tracks with Sir Michael Rocks, Killa Kyleon, Rich Boy, Twista and Bun B.
