Last we discussed the plans of Gainsville Florida's Hear Hums, we apologized for some penile pre-occupations regarding the shape of their state and the duo's penetrative tour up into the northeast. This time around we'll just say that the band has a new album and that the track they're currently sharing is a gorgeous wash of harmonic vowels, bell percussion, and droning accordion synths, and that we aren't reminded of penises of any shape or form.
The track, “Shrines”, comes off Open, the band's third album, a self-described “eleven song sound narrative composed mostly using acoustic sounds.” Obviously, Hear Hums has crafted that raw material into a tasteful synthetic tapestry, and we aren't reminded of penises, at all.
